This yearly returning festival is organized by the Bonaire Jazz Foundation in close cooperation with main locations and sponsors. The main locations host a number of visitors ranging between 300 to 500 persons a day and are all positioned at the seaside or on the beach. Concerts and events are hold three times a day: Sunset Jazz time, main concerts and late night jazz and jam sessions on public places and restaurants / bars.

This year the 8th Bonaire Jazz Festival will be organized on July 27,28,29 2012

 
Programm 2012:

Starting on Friday the 27th with a mixture of jazz and poetry at the historic Fort Oranje in down town Kralendijk, the opening event always excels because of the unique ambiance and combination of artistic highlights and music.
On Saturday July 28th the main-concerts will be organized at Plaza Resort with the Rina Mushonga Band from Zimbabwe, Dutch saxophone player Mrs. Candy Dulfer and from the Dominican Replublic Mr. Yoskar "El Prabu" Sarante. All musicians will be playing on the beach under the stars.
On Sunday, at the Bonaire Jam Fest, you are invited to come along and to play amongst others your favorite music. At Divi Flamingo it promised to be an afternoon filled with different musical styles and here also the youth of Bonaire is welcome to participate.
